The full cost of the program includes all meals, travel, activity costs, plus you get a cool t-shirt to remember this experience! ENGAGE is a community-based program which does not have an additional cost. This program requires a separate application process through the respective programs/offices. A deposit of $50 will be due upon application submission. The priority acceptance deadline is May 29th, and program confirmations will be sent out shortly after. Once you receive confirmation of acceptance to one of the programs, the remaining balance will be due.

Creative Writing: $250

Outdoor Backpacking & Rock Climbing Adventure: $400

Outdoor Lake Santeetlah Paddling Adventure: $400

Working Lands: $350

Application Instructions:

1. Before completing the application, you will need to create an account with Oasys as a new user. 

2. After creating an account, you will be prompted to select a program. There is only one option available, so you will select the “2023 Pre-O Application” and it will be added to your cart. 

3. Once the “2023 Pre-O Application” is added to your cart, select “Checkout” at the bottom of the page. This will bring you to the full application.

4. Complete the “Participant Details” section, “Special Requests” section and “Custom Questions Section”.

5. In the “Custom Questions” section, be sure to select the program that is your top choice. This only includes Creative Writing, Outdoor - Backpacking, Outdoor - Paddling, and Working Lands. If you are interested in the ENGAGE program DO NOT complete this application or pay the $50 deposit. In order to be selected for ENGAGE you must go through those respective offices for a separate application process.

6. If you indicate you are interested in financial assistance, we will contact you via email after your application has been submitted. We will provide you with a link for our Scholarship Application to complete.

7. Once you have completed all application sections, select “Continue” at the bottom of the page.

8. You will then be able to submit your $50 deposit and complete the application process.
